Listen, I tried to like this book, I really did. And I happened to succeed. It was a fun story, an enjoyable mystery, and a good romance. Frances is kinda stupid for a really smart character. Girl hears a guy say, “you’re everything to me” and thinks he isn’t romantically interested in her while he’s also constantly trying hold her hand. Relatable. She’s literally me. What a good book. The mystery was a bit predictable and the ending rushed, but I didn’t care about that much.

Also, why is Charles so much more older than Lottie? Kinda weird, I’d rather they not.
