Wow just freaking wow!!! This book amazed me! I was convinced that Booker was my favorite Harris brother until Gareth!
I have been waiting for Gareth's book since I first read " Challenge"
And it was so worth the wait!!!

"Sometimes when you love someone too much, your heart is louder than your head"

Gareth went through so much as young child, helped keep his family together, he is the one Vi goes to with all the other Harris brother's problems. He is constantly "fixing" things for them.

"He can both dominate and surrender. In fact, it makes him more of a man if he can do both"

Sloan is an American working in Manchester as a personal stylist.
She has formed a friendship with Gareth, he is her only client that doesn't treat her like crap!

Gah their chemistry is off the freaking charts!!!

There is some twists and turns that I definitely didn't see coming but dang they were great!

I can't wait for Dominate!!

Sloan and Gareth is NOT what I was expecting. It was much, much more than what the blurb made it out to seem. These two beautiful souls with their sad past somehow made it work between them. They formed a friendship from the first time they met. It wasn’t love at first sight for these two but more like respect at first sight that grew into the most genuine friendship. Then something flipped between these two and oh my get the fans ready.

These two when together were 🔥🔥🔥🔥. But it was much more between these two. It’s a bit complicated and not what I expected to read but in a good way. This is one that is hard for me to review because it’s the type of story that requires for you to actually read it and not get spoilers from reviews so you can fully get the grasp of their dynamics.

Now that cliffhanger, 😳. Wowwwww I can’t wait for book two. This is one that I have no idea what, when, why, how, or where.

Another Goal!

Oh my word, Amy Daws is amazing! That's all she's just amazing and talented and funny. Gareth was the dreamy broody older brother that we all learned to love throughout the Harris Family stories. I can't wait to see what comes next!

I’m not going to rate this book because it wouldn’t be fair to the author. This book just wasn’t for me. It was almost a DNF. Even though it wasn’t a true BDSM, I’m not into Dom/Sub, especially when the sub is the hero. I like alpha heroes and I like beta heroes, but I apparently don’t like heroes who take orders in the bedroom, so to speak. And I didn’t like Sloan for treating Gareth that way. And just so you know, I wouldn’t have liked Gareth to treat Sloan that way, either.

Ends on a cliffhanger.

To say that I love the Harris family would be an understatement. There is a sense of unity that makes me that much more invested in the story. The connection between Gareth and Sloan was the perfect balance with one needing control and the other needing to give up control.

It ends on a whopper of a cliffhanger. I'm looking forward to what happens next.

A few points here:
1. k so I thought only the guys were slightly misogynistic but the women are too? that's gotta be a no from me
2. I'm not into the heroine dom thing. But my vibe. So that definitely influenced this.
3. Didn't realize it wasn't a standalone. Really ruined it for me.
4. Also Sloan asked l annoyed me
