Hard to rate. There were interesting elements, but it was less about mutual aid conceptually and more of a guide to improving existing mutual aid group efforts. I don't think I was the target audience.

This was a well-written and extremely practical guide to mutual aid— what it is, why we do it, and how can we do it. I found it immensely informative and the almost work-book like sections that called for reflection were very thought-provoking and will make great journaling prompts. I feel inspired and hopeful!

normally this would’ve been a one day listen for me but spotify cut me off of free listening the day i started it and the library hold wasn’t fulfilled before i got my time back.

love learning concrete examples that i can use when im arguing with people about things like this! nothing else interesting to say except that dean spade played catan with my friends once lol.

I’ve had this little book on my TBR stack for a few years. I’m glad I finally picked it up! This book was a practical guide for mutual aid as part of a larger social movement effort. I appreciated the history, the model, the cautions, and the encouragement. I’m going to start incorporating this book into some of my classes. Recommend!
