Gotta love Gavin!

Is Claire Kingsley on you list of One-Click authors? If she isn’t, what are you waiting for? Claire knows how to write about family, and this story is a perfect example.

Gavin is the baby of the Bailey clan, he doesn’t know how to be afraid of anything, it takes getting hit by a car for him to slow down and really look at his life. Skylar is afraid of everything! Her anxiety tends to get the best of her until the day she accidentally hit Gavin with her car!

At this point, I'm just utterly obsessed with this series. Gavin and Skylar's story was just so many layers of wholesome (even with all the dirty parts), and the last chunk of chapters had me feeling all the feels. Especially because Chief Stanley and Skylar's mum got their own happy ending.

Aside from the main characters themselves, one thing I really love about this series is the ongoing mystery surrounding the Bailey/Haven feud, and the disappearance of Eliza and John. With the most recent arson fire of Haven House where they had found some interesting items, it's clear that there's more to it and I can't wait to continue the series to discover what happened.

And speaking of dirty parts, Kingsley seems to have a wonderful knack for writing smut. It's just the perfect mix and always leaves me feeling like I need to fan myself.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 Star Love!

I am absolutely in love with the Bailey Brothers series. I loved the unique differences between Gavin and Sky balancing each other out beautifully. They were so cute and the movie theatre scene was iconic for Sky. Loved how she surprised herself and felt comfortable in moments throughout the novel. Gavin is hilarious and his charm in each book made me excited for this one. He isn't exactly my book boyfriend type but I still loved the story regardless.

Can we please talk about Gram? I want to talk to her in real life and "adopt" her (as Cara would say) as my book Gram. I have highlighted many beautiful quotes by her which are applicable to my own life and she is such a gem.

Thanks Claire Kingsley for another great Bailey Brothers story!

Another great small town romance in this series, this time featuring Gavin Bailey, one of the Bailey brothers and a resident firefighter, and Skylar Stanley, the chief's daughter who returns home after a bad breakup and losing her job as a writer after her literary agent cheats on her and kicks her out. Whew, it was a lot but the book was really good. Gavin is a sunshine, no fear kind of giuy and Skylar is very much a introverted, shy sort of girl. Gavin makes it his personal mission to become her friend and open up her world to bigger and better things. Of course they fall in love! Their meet cute was adorable, and really funny. I loved them together, because I feel like they brought out the best in each other. And can I just say, Gavin with his kitten, Princess Squeaker, is just the cutest thing ever!
