I am not sure how relevant much of this research is now, but there is something to be said about how this book takes the experiences of those living with ADD and makes them so relatable.
Much of this book has helped me understand and analyse my own issues and upbringing, so as a tool to do this the book has been invaluable

I’ve never felt so seen.
As someone who has ADD, and I found myself saying “yes, exactly, whoa, yes!” before chapter two was even over. This book is a must read for anyone that wants to understand their ADD, the potential history behind it, and how to move forward with it. I have a feeling that this book will be life-changing for me. Wow.

Beyond a doubt one of the best books I have ever read. Its implications and insights go far beyond ADHD and I would recommend anyone interested in understanding themselves or families take a read - it was wildly revelatory, enlightening, and validating.
