Very much a middle/filler book, a bit frustrating - but looking forward to the (final?) installment!

This story flashed by so quickly. It reminded me of my middle school reads, although I'm not sure why.
Wendy Higgins writes spellbinding romances and this book was no exception. My only fault with this book was that the plot and story were lacking but honestly, the romance makes up for it. This book, or rather this series, is my guilty pleasure!
I am SO ready for the next, Sweet Temptation, which I have at my house right now.

Oh, Kai. How could anyone not love you?
Getting to look and dig around Kaidan head is the best! Never a dull moment in there! I totally read his POV's in my head in a British accent, and it's bloody brilliant! Written awesomeness, right there. Wendy you're the best!

Merged review:

Oh, wow. So much angst! so much drama! so much luuuuurve! ;)
The stakes keep getting higher and higher, and the tension and expectation rise right along with it! When the "plot cord" snaps it's gonna be so EPIC! I can't wait.
I can definitely say that I fell in love with Kaidan in this book. He still drove me crazy and made me want to hit him, but he can be soooo sweet (and is really cute when he gets all jelly). He's a total dreamboat (and let's not forget the accent! *dreamy sigh*). Anna grew up quite a bit too, and is now more mature and wise. And we got to meet new secondary characters! yay! besides getting to know the ones we already knew, better, like Kope and Blake. Oh, Blake. I totes love you too! you're awesome, brah!
Another thing that's really good about this trilogy is how the different accents are well portrayed, especially where the Brits are concerned. I absolutely love it when the British characters use slang, and Anna has no idea what they mean! And, yes, I melt every time Kaidan says "luv".
This book was squee worthy and totally amazing! Not a single complaint here! Actually, no, that's a lie. What the hell is up with the expressions of the couple on the cover?! Especially the girl! what's that face about?

I really liked this book, but not as much as the first book. I decided not to read the last book because I got spoiled and also lost interest in this series.

Anna was so desperate it was sad. She should have given Kope a chance. I want Kaidon for myself.

I listened to the audiobook and managed to finish in one day. Just like book one, I couldn't put it away. The advantage of audiobooks is that you can listen (almost) everywhere!

I must say that the continuous hot-cold between Anna and Kai was bugging me for a bit, until I understood why it was like that! So, my 4 star went up to 5 again :)

Just the tension of these books drive me mad.

I just want everything to be okay for them all.

Moving onto the third and final book for this series, I won't do the novella though.

I love the twins, i love love anna even though sometimes I wonder why shes soo 'good' but then she is supposed to be the special nep child so she would be different.
Kai is amazing he is so addictive I don't know why he isn't more talked about for YA couples...

Their friends are all lovely and funny, they have some good lines of humor that made me laugh at loud always a good sign for me.
