A long, slow burn, full of plot twists to the final page. Readers are truly transported to a world of inter-planetary politics and inter-personal developments. The character development across the three books is truly a masterclass in writing. Brown shapes characters and plot in such a strong yet thoughtful way, setting a powerful precedent for the sci-fi genre. His exploration of friendships, relationship and navigating adulthood is truly profound. What a book.
