I loved her podcast and so I'm glad she has a book out! After years of listening to the podcast, the book was a bit redundant.

A lovely book about slowing down and enjoying life for what it is and not for what you hope it can be tomorrow, next year, whenever.

Not life-altering but a good read!!! I think the most important take home messages are: identify your why, balance in the long run and just SLOW DOWN of course!

This might be a book I need to purchase. I enjoyed her sense of humor and the realistic ideas.

I just liked the way the pages felt lol. This is nothing new or revolutionary, just a wealthy white woman thing.

A great reminder of the simple things you can do to be present in life and step away from the connected world. This was a sweet, easy and pleasant read.

An excellent intro to slow living. Brooke shares her methods for slow living, her struggles with it (even into the present!), and offers anecdotal and (loosely referenced) scientific arguments for slow living. She doesn’t give a set of rules, or standards, for slow living, and is careful to stress that slow living can and does mean different things to different people. She gives examples of her own slow living practices and of possible practices the reader could consider implementing. Definitely a great starting point for learning what slow living is and why it’s worthwhile, however you do it.
