I loved the humor in book 3 although the plot was not always believable. This next book had some funny moments and was more realistic but it did not grasp me. I was not captivated by the question of how they would solve their differences.
The narration was good.

Contains: Freshly divorced Pansexual jock, gay firefighter (not a str!pper), jock shenanigans, learning about hockey, first time gay seggs, hea.

1 jock, pansexual, out, newly divorced who is very slowly getting into dating.
1 gay firefighter who doesn't like field hockey and is willing to help him experiment without putting pressure on him.
An explosive chemistry that doesn't destroy everything in its path...

Is it possible that something positive will come out of this experience? Can they really combine their lives? Will their busy and different paths cross at the end of the road?

Watching our hot mess baby gay (pan) get back on the romance track adds the anxiety that comes with the novelty of being with someone of the same səx. Sometimes scared, anxious, but definitely persistent, he'll do anything to make those new feelings blossom. But their grounds are so different that there will be pitfalls in their path. Nothing that requires a PR problem, tho.

Dive into this book and discover or rediscover the immense bonds of friendship and family between the characters. The Queer Collective or even the 5 former roommates, all are strong personality groups that our characters lean on to help and support each other.

ALSO, the Sadenverse is EVERYWHERE. The little references are all over the book: to Harley Valentine, Big Bertha, radioactive, queer collective, etc... I'm like a girl in a candy store. You can still read it as a standalone, but when you know all the little references, it puts a nice warm feeling on your heart, and you feel like a beautiful homecoming.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves the sport and oh boy, big firefighter in uniform with lots of muscles and experience. The book is amazing. Written by two authors who know how to make us want to dream, relax, and let go and live a little bit of madness through their funny, witty, and little immature characters.

We also discover new characters that put us on certain tracks for future books, and oh, what a delicious story it sounds. In the meantime, I'll wait without patience for the next books of these fantastic authors. From what I can guater, it's going to be awesome.

Every Puckboys book has been a ton of fun, and Aleks and Gabe's story was no exception. I can't count the number of times I laughed out loud while I was reading, and everything about their journey felt so naturally captivating. From the moment Gabe responded to a 911 call during a Queer Collective house party, Aleks set the tone for the rest of the story. A little bit of silly and chaotic energy and a whole lot of sexy chemistry made Aleks and Gabe keep seeking each other out time and time again, and I loved every moment. Their cute dates and epic steamy nights struck a perfect balance of sexy explorations and warm companionship, and I found myself falling head over heels for their connection. Despite their incredibly busy schedules, these men worked to make time for each other, and I was enjoying their natural chemistry so much I hardly noticed how much time was passing by. I think I could have lived in that happy little bubble forever had the real world not intruded on the fantasy that they could keep their relationship a secret forever, but at some point the truth had to come out. Despite some initial misses and very grumpy missteps, Aleks and Gabe eventually got on the same page about where they wanted their relationship to go next, and from then on nothing could stop them from grabbing every bit of happiness in reach. I was thrilled by how sweetly their story ended, and I'm already speculating about who Sanden's perfect match may be!
