Well that was... Unexpected!

I don't really read much "erotica" - though the e-book shelves are full of it since a certain book series, and my best friend is always trying to get me to read the steamy lesbian romance novels she favours.
However, I am a big fan of Alice in Wonderland - I've retread it often, and very much enjoy works inspired by it, be they books, films or games. In fact I even have a half written (terrible) novel of my own in that vain, I'm that obsessed!
So I spotted this and figured, what the hell.

And I have to say I was amazed! It was actually really good - very well written, sexy, and best of all extremely funny! The Author obviously cares about the source material, but isn't afraid to poke fun at it, and the different kinky escapades actually match up rather well with original plot.

I even learned something - if Rainbow Parties ever come up (or should that be cum up?) in polite conversation, I'll be able to join in with aplomb.

I didn't expect anything from this other than a quick laugh - which I got, with a lot more besides. For all that I don't usually look out for this kind of thing, I think I'll take a look at the rest of the series pretty soon, hopefully they are just as much fun as this!

Free Kindle read.

So, I'm not a big fan of this genre...but it was a free read, and since it was touted as a parody of one of the worst books of all time coupled with a classic work of fiction, I thought what they hey.

I was actually surprised.

It was cleverly and well written. The authoress actually had something to say and there's actually a point to Alice's journey in Wonderland that ends with a rather sweet, albeit weird, love story. It has very little to do with that 50 shades book, even as a parody (it's a very loose definition of a parody) but rather the author chose the title to ride on the coattails of a popular moneymaker. Which is fine with me since that 'moneymaker' book did the same thing. Good for Melinda (which is a pseudonym for another well published authoress, and you can tell).

For what it is, it's not bad. It was a quick read that made me laugh and better written than I would have expected. There are a handful of cringe moments, as the normal person can only describe some things so many ways. It's self described mommy porn.

This book is AMAZING! Even though it's short it's really good.
There is a couple parts in here that are like WOW DONT WANT TO READ ABOUT THAT but if your able to get past them this turns out to be a great erotica book.
If you are new to erotica books do not make this one of your first reads lol

Oh dear... OH MY.... nothing innocent at all about this book. It is explicit, nothing is left undescribed. Some scenes do exceed my personal preferences, but nevertheless, the book is kind of good, in it's own special way.

It is a spin-off from the original, light hearted wonderland tale. But Alice isn't as young anymore, and ends up in endless situations which are all but sinless.

Overal this is a good book, which I enjoyed reading. Some scenes where a bit too harsh for me personally, and the constant referall to E-books and Amazon was a bit annoying too. But overall, this was a good and (over)exciting read.

Silly, fun, short and unapologetically smut.

Quick read, but funny and sexy. Obviously tongue in cheek (and everywhere else!) but it kept me interested for the full hour it took me to read it. More than once it sounded like and Amazon commercial and even said to Google something it was FUNNY..
