I could barely remember much about this book. To me it’s A regular romance novel. Some parts were really cute but it was okay at best.

This was a lighthearted read. It was funny, sweet, and somewhat predictable. Nevertheless, I laughed outloud often, rooted for my favorite characters. I devoured the book, and I'm excited for book 2.

I didn’t hate this book- not the best way to start a review off. But it’s honesty that we are going for here. I didn’t love it either. It was just okay to me. I wanted to fall in love with the story so bad- but it just wasn’t there for me. What I will say is that this would make a a great hallmark movie or chick-flick that girls could get together and have a movie night with. The plot is perfect for that. I was just confused a bit with this story. It had like 2 chapters of what I thought was going to lead into enemies to lovers (my fave) but that quickly changed and it was fake dating.. but then real dating.. and then a bunch of confusion? Sort of forced proximity.. I dunno. It had so much potential and it just missed the mark for me. Like the timeline of majority of the story took place within 3 weeks.. and then we fast forwarded a few months towards the end and I was like.. uh? What? So much potential, but *just* missed it. I liked the idea of the story which is why I gave it a 3. I wouldn’t absolutely recommend, but I wouldn’t tell you to NOT read it.. ya know?
