so perfect. everything and more that i needed from Lara and Aren but at the same time, i'm so sad that they'll no longer be the main characters in the bridge kingdom series. no matter what they'll be the most iconic ones and they are the ones where it all began

I liked this well enough though I expected even more spice simply bc of the dedication "for spicy readers" hahahah. It suprisingly still included a bit of the political aftermath of the main series' events. If these six chapters were tacked onto the end of the traiter queen, then that would've gotten 5 stars 😭

Loved revisiting my favourite royals, Lara and Aren. Could honestly read about them lazing about Ithicana all loved up all day. The politics of The Bridge Kingdom series are so interesting to me, and that's saying something for someone who has no idea or care about politics, I just love that they addresses the matters at hand following the war and what's to come as they rebuild. Excited to see more of Lara and Aren in the future ;) This was exactly what I needed following the Inadequate Heir, thank you Danielle, can't wait for book four!!!
