It was funny, though a very short and most of the jokes were laid out in the first two lines of the introduction. Still, it made me smile and was worth the 5 minutes it required to read.

While this book is written specifically in reference to Inman's own pooch, it really is a general love letter to all dogs of the world: genetically wired like direwolves, but content to lick themselves into a stupor- the eponymous canine paradoxes.
Unlike his other books, this one has a specific narritive that weaves his various published comics together. My only critique is the length (I wanted more damnit!)

It was a rather short read but fun nonetheless.
