I really should've liked this book. I wanted to like this book. Hell, I am the target audience for this book. (tw: infertility) I should have been able to relate to every single line in here, but I didn't. I couldn't connect with either of the main characters at all. I'm still firmly in the "Colleen Hoover can do no wrong" camp, but this offering fell flat for me. The beginning was top-notch and super clever, but then it went south and never really came back. I was never invested in the story. What Colleen Hoover does REALLY well and what makes her books so universal is her ability to pull the reader in and make them relate to the characters. This was lacking in that area. There were a lot of good things- swoon-worthy dialogue, the most clever way two characters meet that I've read so far- but it was slow and hard to get through. Not my favorite book, but still probably my favorite author.

I love Graham with my entire heart and soul. The love and dedication that this man has towards his wife, Quinn is one that is so adoring and beautiful…I hope someday to experience a love half as beautiful as these peoples. ❤️

This was my favorite of this series. It was heartbreaking but has a satisfying end. I don’t want to write too much for fear of spoilers.

Want a book that makes you ugly cry? LikeKim Kardashian ugly cry. Colleen Hoover does it again! A story about cheating, marriage, infertility, relationships, and growth.
Quinn and Graham meet in a hallway, while their significant others are cheating on them. They start dating a year later and are irresistible. Over time, they both begin hiding secrets from each other and tip toeing around one another.
