Gayle was never one for Christmas. After an accident, Gayle has a change of heart and wants her daughters back in her life; She hadn’t spoken to them in five years. While taking a trip to Scotland for the holidays, she attempts to rekindle her relationship with her daughters. Her oldest daughter, Samantha, struggles with relationships but will that change when she meets a Scottish Laird?

I really enjoyed getting to know the characters in this book and the multiple POV’s were easy to follow. This book did take me a bit longer to finish than other books - there was drama and wonder, but I wish there was a bit more excitement and romance. While this wasn’t one of the best holiday books I’ve read, I still recommend it if you like Elin Hildebrand’s books. Last thoughts: I really want to take a Christmas vacation in Scotland now!!

I’m not one for reading Christmas books but I decided to give this one ago and I’m glad.

Sarah has made me change my reading habits! I need to invest in more Christmas reads.

This was a lovely meaningful story.

I loved reading about Gayle, Samantha and Ella.

A perfect read to read all year round, but even better during the Christmas period.

A typical fluffy Christmas read, but I particularly enjoyed it because it wasn’t all about romance (though there was some of course!) but two grown-up daughters reconciling with their tough estranged mother against the backdrop of the Scottish Highlands at Christmas. All were well developed characters each with their own stories, and I wish I could go to Kinleven! Enjoyable Christmas read

I really enjoyed this! It was perfectly festive without being too over the top or cringey!

I’ve heard a few people say they didn’t enjoy it or DNF but lately I’ve seen more positives than negatives! I really liked the characters - I loved the change in Gayle and think it was written really authentically!

I will say it wasn’t a book I couldn’t put down but I also didn’t have to force myself to pick it up so it was somewhere in the middle - a sweet spot

2020 has been so tough so it’s always nice to read a Christmassy relaxing cute read and that’s exactly what Morgan did. While the subject was touching, it was so warmly and the setting was idyllic. Will inevitably re-read next year.

It made me question, think and judge my own decisions relating to work, family and romances. It’s warm and inviting moments in the Scottish Highlands make for the perfect Christmas read

One More For Christmas was another heartwarming holiday read by Sarah Morgan. The characters were all very dynamic and I loved to see them build a relationship. The story had ups and downs emotional wise and I was rooting for every single character! I loved how the different people formed relationships and friendships in this absolutely beautiful scenery. This book was just a pure joy to read!
