It’s different than the movie, just because of the presence of Ares, and that comes the best part on the novel! Wonderful! Read next sequel!

It’s Percy Jackson. Enough said.

My 22 year old self wants to punch my 10 year old self for not reading this series.

Originally I only started it because my sister and I made a bet; I read Percy, she reads Grisha. I knew the moment I started the series I would LOVE IT.

Boy, did I.

It was such an adventurous story. Never did it lull or leave me wanting to jump off of a cliff and get my excitement from that. I can’t say there was anything I would change, or that I could complain about either. Rick is truly an amazing storyteller.

I feel slightly bad because instead of reading Sea of Monsters I am going to switch it up and go back to the RR word with Morning Star/Iron Gold.

Though I will come back!

Anyways, 5 stars for this amazing star to an incredible series.

I’ve been in such a reading slump lately, but nothing fixes a slump like a trip to Camp Half-Blood! I forgot how much I love and relate to Percy and Annabeth. I love their friendship and their frustrations with one another. I’m about to dive into The Sea of Monsters (haha, get it? Dive?) next, because Uncle Rick hooks me in every time.
