I loved seeing Julian fall to his knees for a woman especially after seeing him watch Marcus and Matteo fall in love. I love a surprise baby romance as well, and Tally showing up with a baby was all the surprise Julian needed to turn all his powers of persuasion toward Tally to convince her to stay. While I didn't always enjoy Julian's tactics, he saved himself by the end of the book.

Thank goodness Melanie Moreland went ahead and wrote The Commander because I've been curious about Julian Grayson from the get-go. This is the third and final book in the Men of Hidden Justice series, and while it can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend that the series be read in order: The Boss, Second-in-Command, and The Commander. There are recurring characters and continuing story line of sorts, which I won't go into because hello, spoiler-ville. These are all romantic suspense reads, and fantastic ones at that!

Julian Grayson is a man on a mission, and he's taken his purpose in life to heart, enough that there isn't much space left for anything else. But then Taliyah Wells steps into his office. She's applying to be his secretary, but there's something about the twenty-eight-year-old art degree holder that piques his curiosity. She's ten years Julian's junior and it looks like she's keeping secrets, but then so is Julian. They fall hard for each other, but when Tally learns what Julian's been hiding, she runs. When he finds her again, there'll be no letting go...

It took someone like Tally to break down Julian's walls, but while falling for one another was easy, staying together was a whole different matter for these two. I loved their chemistry and I appreciated that their journey led to a hard-earned but very much deserving happily-ever-after. Just like its predecessors, The Commander had a great blend of romance, mystery, and suspense. Melanie Moreland rose to the challenge and delivered a memorable series with her Men of Hidden Justice books. The Commander receives five stars.

I liked the premise of this story. It had so much potential to be more. I did, however, struggle with the reasons that Tally left like she did and that someone, like Julian, wouldn't have been able to track her whereabouts, especially, with all of his resources.

I loved the scenes with them as a family. It helped move this book from 3 stars to 4.

So there was a picture online, that brought me to this book.
Iykyk.

I didn’t read the first two books in the series, I just jumped into this one with faith that stand-alone truly meant I could jump in here. It was a success and this book was fantastic. I’ll be going back to read the first two as well as more from the author.

The Commander
Men of Hidden Justice, Book 3
By: Melanie Moreland
Narrated by: John Lane, Maxine Mitchell

I cannot get enough of the Hidden Justice men! Each one alpha protective, but have their own truth and paths to happiness. This one focuses on Julian. He was in need of a new assistant. Taliah is hired, She is inexperienced, but he doesn't know that. She is organized and professional. And he can't stop thinking about her. He knows he cannot act on their mutual attraction, but it becomes to hard to even think when she is around. He knows he can't bring a woman into his line of work and she has no idea of his true occupation or his past. When they collide though, all bets are off and he knows what he wants. Twists, turns, love, passion, excitement, all the things I love are brought out in this truly passionate story. Julian is quite the man, and he wormed his way right into my heart. Taliah is a tough nut, and at times I wanted to shake her, but could feel her doubt and fear. It's a true love story with a glimpse at our other Hidden Justice families. I love this series!

The continued narration by Maxine Mitchell and John Lane just add so many feels to the story, it's incredible. I love this team, their professionalism shows with the way they choose their voices and bring out the emotions they both have. From the chemistry, to the fear, to the love, it's all there and absolutely wonderful.

This book was such a perfect romance suspense story as this is the 3rd book in the Hidden Justice series.
These men gah, so deadly and a force to be reckoned with, but oh so strong and loving to their women.

This is Julian's story and you couldnt ask for a more perfect love for him than Taliyah she's the light to his dark.

I was so hooked from start to finish and couldnt put it down as these 2 had a force that drew them together into a love that could withstand time.

Highly would recommend. This whole series is pretty amazing.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this entire series, but I think this one is my favorite of the 3.

There is just something about the connection between Julian & Tally that speaks to me. He doesn't want to get involved, but he can't stay away or ignore the pull that he feels.

The Commander is the third book in the Men of Hidden Justice series by Melanie Moreland. I really enjoyed this series and was so happy that Julian got his own story. He played a huge role in the previous books but was always somewhat mysterious. I loved watching the slow-burn romance grow as the handsome alpha hero fell for Tally. Their story was an emotional rollercoaster with all the feel goods and ends with a happy ever after. This has been a great series and I loved seeing the previous characters again. I am sad to see it end but hopefully, we will see them again in future books.
I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

As the Commander of Hidden Justice, Julian is used to keeping things close to the vest and moving people and controlling outcomes as you would as a chess master. However, when Tally comes into his office for a job interview, Julian is thrown for a loop and all control is thrown out the window. With her own issues from her past, Tally feels a connection with Julian but wants to keep everything work related, but when her safety is on the line, Julian breaks protocol and becomes her knight. What will happen when his true identity is revealed? Can you drop everything for a chance at love? Once again, Melanie Moreland captures the readers hearts as well as their minds with a wonderfully written story that they cannot put down. Filled with the perfect amount of danger, lies and everlasting love is another book in the Hidden Justice series that deserves more than 5 stars!!

This book surprised me in a few ways. Julian wasn’t one of my favorite characters in the series so I wasn’t expecting to love his story, but I do. He seemed cold and closed off in the earlier books but that’s the persona he needs to run Hidden Justice. It’s the kind of job where you can’t let your emotions take over so he has to be all business. But something changes when he meets Tally. He’s drawn to her immediately and quickly becomes enamored with her.

She likes him too but they both have secrets. Even after Tally reveals what she’s running from, Julian can’t figure out a way to divulge his own. He becomes obsessed with neutralizing the threats from her past, determined that her safety is top priority. He’ll tell her everything when the time is right but life doesn’t care about anyone’s plans. The circumstances of a raid change everything and take all decisions out of his hands. Tally’s reaction to learning his secrets is extreme and surprising, leaving the man in charge helpless for once.

Julian wants to make things work but can they ever get past the feelings of betrayal? Their story pulled me in from the first page and I couldn’t wait to see what happened next. There’s action and suspense but the characters and the way they react to one another are the real story here. I didn’t think any of the men of Hidden Justice could unseat Matteo as my favorite but Julian does. Tally and Julian’s story is sweet and steamy though fraught with angst but I hung on every word.
