Check your triggers!
I wanted to love Cress, but she really pissed me off a lot. The twists were well done and had a few moments of OMG. I really really hope William gets whats coming for him.

MF Romance
Teacher/Student MC

DNF @ 45%. This is the free book of the month for one of the many romance book clubs I subscribe to. It was great when I read MF but now I usually ignore them or try to unsubscribe. This one caught my attention because not only is it teacher/student, but I’ve always wanted to read this author. Well, 2020 me wanted to read this author but 2022 me finds it so hard to read anything MF so I crossed

This is a @shadesofshel made me read it!

I actually preferred this to the Hangman Hades series, I think I just clicked with the characters a bit more and there was a bit less violence to it all.

I loved the values of the M/C and King in particular, it wasn’t all drugs and violence, there was a lot more to it.

Easy read with lots of spice

I stayed up* way *too late devouring this one! The chemistry was perfect - it hit all the right emotions, balancing the plot and character growth beautifully. The spice? woo.

3.5 ⭐️. I enjoyed this book a fair bit. I loved both characters and I was pleased to see the hero was a mature adult seeing as he is 18 years old. And most people that are 18 act like they are 6
