DNF @ 45%. This is the free book of the month for one of the many romance book clubs I subscribe to. It was great when I read MF but now I usually ignore them or try to unsubscribe. I actually preferred this to the Hangman Hades series, I think I just clicked with the characters a bit more and there was a bit less violence to it all.
I loved the values of the M/C and King in particular, it wasn’t all drugs and violence, there was a lot more to it.

I stayed up* way *too late devouring this one! The chemistry was perfect - it hit all the right emotions, balancing the plot and character growth beautifully. The spice? woo.

3.5 ⭐️. I enjoyed this book a fair bit. I loved both characters and I was pleased to see the hero was a mature adult seeing as he is 18 years old. And most people that are 18 act like they are 6
