I started reading this for fun. I didn't expect to like it that much. It was amazing.

The book is cute and cheesy. I just couldn't get into it totally but it is a good read. Maybe my expectations were sky high as I wanted this book to be as cute as the Korean series I watched.

Original premise but a time worn plot. This will appeal to young teens who like a light romance.

the best thing about this is that it combines my two special interests (kpop and literature). everything else i thought was just alright! not bad, not amazing. just good. anyway, i liked the whole kpop beauty business thing they had going on. very fun. the characters were okay, except for the fact that val annoyed me a lot. wes made up for it by being sweet, though. there's some good commentary on family pressure and the writing was okay. overall, an enjoyable read even though i wouldn't reread it ^^
