This is the debut novel in the Royals of Rodina series and I absolutely loved it.
Our main characters Winnie and Thad go on epic journeys not just together, but as individuals and I absolutely loved that! They both have a lot to learn about their world and each other and the way Jamie weaves their lives together was spectacular.
But what I loved most about this book is that side characters, are not side characters at all! I pride myself on being able to figure out the plot in a book and I was kept on my toes the entire time all the way through!
The world building, and discovering how it works at the same time as the characters made it so immersive!

I read this book after the umbra king and the style was so different that I was a little thrown off. That being said, I'm looking forward to rereading this once she completes the edits to the series.

The was the most poorly written book I have ever read. The story could have been great but the writing and characters were laughable

To be completely honest… I DNFd at 86%. I was super into this book at first and couldn’t put it down, but then it just got slow and I got bored.

Woah woah woah woah!!!!! I found this on tiktok and I am OBSESSED. Kindle unlimited has been blowing it out of the water with their books on there lately. This book is THE perfect mixture of action, romance, spice, world building, and best of all humor. Rarely do I find myself laughing this much in a fantasy book but I loved it!! It was so unique and I loved the story line, I appreciated the romance and how it wasn’t the basic enemies to lovers trope. This book was AMAZING I recommend it to anyone who loves NA fantasy!
