"Do not fast if you are a woman." After reading these words, I was incredibly disappointed in this book. I do not recommend it.

I’m a serious amateur athlete and I got a lot of useful info out of this book.
A lot of topics are only briefly covered due to the vast amount of information that’s out there, but there are a ton of sources listed at the end which you can explore for more details. I’m fine with having a high level view of everything so I can decide what to research more for myself.
I feel that not everyone will resonate with everything in this book, but personally I’m ok with taking what seems applicable to me and leaving the rest. Even if you’re not a serious athlete, there are useful tips in here for general health!
