This book is split into 2 parts. First part is high school where we were introduced to the main characters. Where they from, their family background etc. The second part is the university year where the main characters met again to memd their relationship.

The story is promising. But the dialog i found it stiff and lack of depth. It makes the chemistry between the characters little bit off. But it still durable. Its still somehow tugging at my heart especially kelly relationship with his mom.

4 Chasing Butterflies Stars

For a New Adult book it’s really good. I very much liked the timeline, I like getting to really know the character from childhood up to adult.

Kelley & Lenora had a pretty close connection from the first meeting and I fall for that every single time.

Kelley didn’t have such a wonderful childhood and I was rooting for him. My heart hurt for him so much throughout this book.

Lenora, I liked her and I wanted her to stand up for herself a lot. I did like that she does here and there. But she was not a whimp at all thank you Terri E. Laine for that <3

This story really brings you full circle.

I liked the narration; Graham Halstead knocked it out of the park. Taffy Johnsen has a great voice for a young female. So it worked for this book.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

3.75. I like the story line, although there seems to be some grammatical errors near the final chapters of the book. I had to reread some sentences more than once.

Another great, angsty new adult Kindle Unlimited find. I was a little with this one that I was reading a YA instead of an NA book, but we truly needed to know about Kelley and Lenny in high school to get their full story.

I'm onto Catching Fireflies, which is Brie and Chance's book, two characters we meet in this book (which is also on Kindle Unlimited).

Such an easy, fun to follow read. The tension and buildup was good despite there, in my opinion, not being much chemistry between the leading characters in the end of the book.

Felt a bit predictable at times but I hated when I’d have to stop reading it.

This book was amazing. I fell in love with the characters, and I cried, laughed, smiled, and cheered along with them. You will laugh and cry your way through this book.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The story was told in two parts. The first part covered high school, and the next part covered college.
Terri does a fantastic job of painting a vivid image of both their lives and how fate played its role in how everything played out. You can't help but feel sad for the life they both have had to endure.
Despite not playing a huge role in the book, I could not help but feel contempt towards Lenny's parents. I think this speaks volumes to how well the author can evoke feelings in the reader, even with minimal interaction from specific characters.
I love when an author can make me feel emotional when reading. This book did not fail on that score. I felt every emotion during reading this book.
