This was the first book to get me reading, I love this book even though the author is controversial this book shaped alot of what I like reading today but if you don't like plot twists your probably not gonna like it.

A very intriguing and quick story! It caught my interest from the beginning and I was interested to keep reading. I do feel like the build up to the turning point took a while and more action could have happened in the middle. I do also wish that some of the book series that Verity wrote was included to get a sense of how her stories were written to see if her true self was written in her books.
I did have a feeling that Jeremy was involved in Verity’s accident, and I believe the truth is a mix of the manuscript and the letter.

I have never finished a book in less than 24 hours, until now. I couldn’t put this one down. I felt disturbed, anxious, and curious with every page.

This book really creeped me out and the mystery of it all kept me going. Much more disturbing than I anticipated. I predicted some of it but was definitely surprised (and perplexed) by the ending. Authors: please STOP glorifying and/or downplaying abuse, SA, coercion, stalking... She glorifies and downplays SA, coercion, and other blurry/icky sexual behavior on multiple occasions throughout this book. Likely won't read another Colleen Hoover book because of that.

Wowww twisty, twisty, twisty. That’s really all I can even think because this … I don’t even know what to believe. Wild. Crazy. Last 50 got me.
Felt a lot like Rebecca. But creepier.

This thriller kept me on my toes! I was hooked from the first chapter and couldn't put the book down once I started reading. I finished in 2 days, probably would have been one if I would have started earlier in the day. It was my first thriller and I really enjoyed it and look forward to reading more thrillers in the future. The romance that transpires between the FMC and MMC was unexpected but very much enjoyable. Overall a great read and the plot, lets just say THICK.  10/10 would recommend!

For Colleen Hoover, I don’t think this book is bad at all. Just don’t come expecting something great.

Anyway, I didn’t like any of the characters to be completely honest. None of them have any redeeming qualities. Personally, I like a strong female lead. All of Hoover’s female protagonists are very malleable and depend strongly on the male lead. It’s annoying.

The plot itself was pretty good, actually. I could have done without them fucking each other though. I think maybe her being more unsure of the male lead would have been better (especially considering what he does in the end), but it’s Colleen Hoover so I won’t say anymore.

It’s getting three stars because it’s a Colleen Hoover book. This is definitely a good start AND stop with her books :)
