This was a re-read before seeing the movie on Amazon Prime, and WOW did the movie really steamroll the book. If you thought the movie was flat, give the book a try, since the movie cut out ENTIRE CHARACTERS, multiple sub-plots, and more, with the best lines taken word for word from the book.
