Where shall I begin, maybe I have too many high standards for books now but I feel it hasn’t lived up to the hype
the side characters were lovely like Nora my gal <3
however sometimes every character just felt very empty to me idk what it is. The pride for sexuality and race hit home tho and witnessing an unrealistic happy ending for a political gay couple was comforting in some ways.
The book was very sweet, Henry and Alex was also sweet, the banter when it was there was lovely. The politics side was atrocious an unrealistic view of America and I can not express how unimportant the royal family is to Britain lmfao. All the unrealistic-ness aside. It was a decent book, it was cute. I still think there could’ve been some more depth but it’s fine.

Such a great, beautiful, empowering story of a reality-based fantasy. The love and support and feeling seen that we need to keep fighting for ourselves.
