Enjoyed the first volume and would read the other books in the series. I haven’t read a whole lot of Greek mythology retellings prior to this book, and I think Smythe does a good job of explaining the roles of the characters in this story as well as convey information behind some of the more notable tales of Greek mythology. It is a rather dark retelling, so I would advise to check out content warnings before deciding to read it or not. While you don’t get as much of Hades and Persephone’s relationship, you do get a nice build-up to their relationship as well as some pretty cute moments. If you want a starter book to get into Greek mythology retellings and you don’t mind the book not entirely be about Hades and Persephone, you might enjoy Lore Olympus Volume 1.

I used to read this religiously back in the day on webtoon. And now it's a full on volume publication comic book series. And the colors, scenery and etc are still so beautiful, especially on paper.

I got the publication that shows an episode of Hera that I never got to see on webtoon and let me tell yah... we love a Goddess queen. That also gave me a whole lot of closure.
And I do like Hades, even if he saying alot to his brothers. Artemis and Ero are the friends Percephone needs and I'm happy she has them. But when Percephone said she's not comfortable with Apollo there. I definitely believe that was woman intuition and that Artemis opened a door of trauma for Percephone.
Apollo can catch these hands... he pisses me off everytime I see him, and it's been like that since I read it on webtoon.
