A different life they indeed have.
I find the storyline slow.
But this is very impactful to me as a women who grew up with another culture.
Found some relatable scenario.
Empowering.

Very interesting look at how love and dating are different among the Saudis... and how they are the same. The influence of family, of social class, and public opinion. They have such a strong hold over us no matter where we live, though in Saudi the cost of going your own way is much higher. I enjoyed the stories though I strongly suspect a lot was lost in the translation. I recommend for a good beach read.

Too dreadful - I could barely get into it, let alone finish it. Terribly writing style, every single Arabic word used in the character's casual conversation is defined in a footnote, argh.
