Katherine Center has done it again. This may have eclipsed The Bodyguard for my favorite book???
I learned so much about face blindness and wow I just loved the characters. Definitely didn’t see some of the reveals coming. 10/10

“Our thoughts create our emotions. So if you fixate on your worst-case scenario, you’ll make things harder for yourself.”

Another late night reading session to finish a book. It’s so weird to have read three books where the FMC is an artist/painter.

Devoured this book in more or less 24 hours so I could see why people love Katherine Center’s writing. I got pulled in quickly. I had a really fun time reading this, even had a tear dropping experience. Would recommend to friends who just wanna try romance book because this is kinda cute although very very very very predictable.

I loved this book so much, I felt like I really understood and connected to Sadie and how she was feeling. They were some truly amazing quotes and ideas that I’d never heard of before (e.g confirmation bias: we think what we think we’re going to think). I loved how Katherine Center showed us how wrong first impressions can be: insert
Joe’s one night stand with a bulldog.
And how freeing it can be to choose which thoughts to indulge in, how those positive, self-encouraging thoughts can create hope.

What I love about this romance book that it does really well is the sense of anticipation it creates. You can’t wait for the main characters to figure out what has been foreshadowed the entire book. That’s what makes a romance novel stick out from others. Loved this
