This book was awesome. It left me guessing what would happen next and kept me reading to find out. I loved this book and I love Carol Higgins Clark and the way she writes. I recommend this book.

Good, quick read. The mystery was fun and there were multiple storylines all mixed together that kept it interesting. The idea of “laced” though wasn’t really carried throughout other than in small snippets.

I did not find this as amusing or interesting as some of the other Regan Reilly mysteries. For the most part, I have enjoyed this series very much.

It was good until the end. I thought it was all wrapped up too quickly.

Regan and Jack are on their honeymoon in Ireland when John and Jane Doe steal a valuable lace tablecloth from the hotel/castle they are staying at. Not as fun as usual, a few too many attempted twists. Ok.

This is quite possibly my favorite Regan Reilly book so far, and I think it's because it was focused so much on the other characters, not Regan. It felt like Jack was the main character, and so there was less of Regan's whining negative attitude.

Laced is one of those books that's more than the sum of its parts. Each of these books can be read in any order. But here, Laced happens after Hitched, when the main heroine got married.

I said that Regan Reilly is the main heroine. But she is not the main character. That honor is shared by the four crooks on the run and committing crimes at the same time.

I loved the premise of a honeymoon in Ireland. Fortunately for me, the author did not make her characters speak Gaelic. This is a book when even the least important character can be funny as hell. I fully recommend this book, and hope that you start the series by reading Laced.

Typical Carol Higgins Clark. Highly entertaining, three stories woven into one. Jack and Regan Reilly are on their honeymoon, but of course, the NYPD detective and the private investigator, can't even do that quietly. The hotel at which they are staying is famous for a bit of lace woven by May Reilly (no relation) who is also rumored to haunt the hotel. The lace is stolen as a deliberate taunt to Jack but they are soon on the case. There is the side note of a couple who is trying to make big bucks off a painter and a whole host of other characters.
Just the sort of story you'd expect from the author. Highly enjoyable.

A double mystery that Regan and Jack Riley are trying to follow. First where are the Does who stole Mae Riley's tablecloth and what is the truth about the paintings.
