This was a nice, short read with interesting anecdotes and research on our faulty decision making.

I picked up this book because I like behavioral economics. I love The Tipping Point, Freakonomics, What the Dog Saw, Super Freakonomics and so on. When scientists/economists can produce experiments that shed light on why we do what we do, it's so interesting to me to see that side of humanity. Some things that we assumed in the past are, in fact, proven in this book. It answers questions about our behaviors and the world's ability to manipulate us. Overall, very good read even if you're not interest in most other non-fiction books.

A pretty decent book, easy to read and informative. I actually came away from this enjoying the author's writing style quite a lot. He's very funny and I think I would enjoy it if he wrote a short memoir of his life lol. A number of points here have been covered in other books in this genre.

If, like me, you consider yourself to be a rational human being, read this book. Then you will realize you're irrational, just like everyone else.

Quite enjoyable. I enjoyed the emphasis on the experiments.

The book references the original research. While there's not much chance that I personally will be going back to read those papers, I like that someone who got inspired could pursue the topics in more detail.

A brilliant book, several years ago I would have found it a very insightful and a breakthrough, but I have read a lot of what may be called behavioural economics and social science. Nevertheless I very much like that it is generally based on researches and how their results are separated from speculations, though this is speculations that make it so interesting.
