What a wonderful end to this story. I couldn't wait to dive into Forever, Jack after finishing up Eversea and it certainly didn't disappoint! Another great blend of angst, drama and romance! I am excited to read more by this author that's for sure.

As usual when i have left a book on my kindle for too long and i finally get round to realigning it, i am now kicking myself for leaving it so long.

The book is told from dual point of view and it is really nice to be able to have Jack's voice as the relationship continues and Keri Ann and Jack get to know each other better, but to understand each others world a little more.

There is a lot of depth to the characters and the book has all the feels to it with the supporting characters being well rounded too.

Jack was certainly ready to fight to get Keri Ann back in life and would do what he needed to do for her to realise everything that he had done and would do to protect her and keep her in his life, whereas Keri Ann seemed to have a little push pull towards him, but wanted her own dreams too. Keri Ann did annoy me a little but, overall, the pair really complimented each other.

Another really great instalment of this series.

Jack Eversea left Keri Ann Butler and her beautiful seaside town for a reason. It needed to be done ASAP, and there was no time for explanations. All Jack wanted was to protect Keri Ann at all costs, even if it meant breaking her heart. He wanted to keep her away from the harsh realities of his very public life. The tabloids and entertainment websites told a completely different story, one that painted him in a very bad light, but if it meant keeping the woman he loved away from the prying and judgmental eyes of the public, and the vengeful wrath of his onscreen romantic partner Audrey Lane, Jack would gladly go along with it.

For Keri Ann, Jack's abandonment was personal, painful, and humiliating, to say the least. How do you get from bliss and passion to zero communication and no closure at all? It took Keri Ann months to pick up the broken pieces of her heart and her life. But if there was any good thing that came out of this whole romantic mess with the famous Hollywood celebrity, it made her realize that she had a talent that was worthy enough of a scholarship at a prestigious art school, and her very own show at the local art gallery.

But after several months of not hearing from Jack Eversea, he is back in Butler Cove, and Keri Ann Butler's world is about to be turned upside down again. He will stop at nothing to be forgiven, and he will do everything in his power to become a part of Keri Ann's life again, whether she liked it or not.

Just as I expected, this sequel to Eversea packed a lot of scenes that made me want to barf, roll my eyes, or snort with derision, in no particular order. I'm really just allergic to cheesy, laughable lines, and I cannot lie. Overall, it's melodramatic, corny, and predictable, although it did present the potential realities of what it could be like to date a world-famous superstar. Unfortunately, I liked the minor characters here more than I did the main characters. You read one book from this genre, you've basically read all of them. But if you're looking for a quick romantic book just for the heck of it, this can tide you over, I guess.

loved it, review to come!

I was lucky enough to get an ARC of the first in this series so it made the wait for this one seem even longer but i can definitely say it was worth it.

Jack proves himself time and time again in this story in an effort to make up for his abrupt departure from Keri Ann. Although i did love the story, i did find at times i wanted to hit Keri Ann for her lack of communication and prejudgement, but at the same time that just made the finale that much more special.

My favourite bit of the writing was when we got a bit from Jack's POV. It was the best way to describe what had gone on in his absence and although the story is still mainly from Keri Ann's POV it really did benefit from this brief transition.

"Forever, Jack" is the sequel to the bestselling "Eversea" by Natasha Boyd and picks up exactly where the first book left off. The love story of Jack Eversea and Keri Ann Butler seemed to abruptly come to an end when Jack's ex-girlfriend Audrey announced she was pregnant with his child only for Jack to find out that she was no longer pregnant in the first place (or so she claimed). If the first book was about how Jack and Keri Ann, an unlikely couple, fell for each other, this second book focuses on their journey to reclaim what was always theirs--each other.

While this was a good story and I did enjoy reading it, one of my issues with the book is the same one I had with the first one: my lack of absolute affection for Keri Ann. Yes, yes, I get that she was hurt by what happened but the girl was obviously lying to herself and throwing back Jack's declaration of love to his face was just...ugh! The epilogue finally got me back to liking her a smidgen. Hehe. Jack...well, Jack is a different story altogether. The guy is even more swoon-worthy this second time around. Where can we get ourselves our own Jack Eversea and how long will it take for him to get to us? ^.^

There were editing issues that were seemingly missed and I was trying to remember, without re-reading "Eversea", if the first book had similar issues as well... Hmmm...

One of the best things about this book had to be the cover. Now, I know we're not supposed to judge a book by its cover (because some out there have gorgeous covers and turn out to be real disappointments on the inside) but this book had a beautiful one that really tied in to the story and to the first book's cover (which was quite good as well!). So, this is definitely one of those occasions where you've got a book that'll grab your attention from the outside and keep you reeled in once you start flipping through the pages. ^.^

"Forever, Jack" gets four out of five stars. If you've never read "Eversea", make sure you do so BEFORE reading "Forever, Jack" because neither one is a stand-alone. ;)

I was so crushed after the ending of Eversea, I was literally counting down the days this book! Happily, the second installment lived up to my expectations. The ending of book 1 left me feeling disdain for Jack. I empathized with KA and how her heart was shattered by Jack. I only lasted about the first quarter and I was once again captain of Team Jack!

I liked the dual POVs and flashbacks. There was so much to Jack Eversea that we would have missed without this aspect. As with all great series, there is an outstanding supporting cast! I adore Jazz and hope we learn her full story in the future. Joey was the good older brother, but was annoying at times with his overbearing behavior, especially given the way he treated Jazz. Mrs. Wheaton was a gem!! Colt was so sweet and a great friend to KA, maybe he will have his own book?

While KA was frustrating at times, I couldn't help but be proud of her growth. In the first book, she was so centered on what would make Jack happy. However, in this book, she really focused on what was best for her and her own identity. Of course, as a reader it's easy to yell, "Pick the gorgeous actor!". In reality, I could not imagine having every intimate moment of my life photographed for the the world to see and judge. I loved that she came into her own, all by herself.

While there is a satisfactory closing the story, there was just enough hints for book #3! I can't wait to read more of the Eversea series!

"The way I feel about you was never a decision. It just was. I was made to love you. I never fell, I was already there. From the very first moment."

"I want to build you a library."
I swallowed as emotion clogged my throat. He might as well have asked me to marry him.

I enjoyed the conclusion to this romance. Although at times Keri Ann annoyed the heck out of me because of her pride. The story came together nicely and the lose ends were tied up enough to please me.
