Goodness gracious!! I flew through this one! Armentrout did a great job with finishing this story off. So so happy that Layla chose Roth and the beginning and I didn't have to read through her trying to decide anymore. This is one that I would love to have a short epilogue type book after with Layla and Roth and where they are in 10 years. :)

Kinda sad to be done with these fabulous characters. Loved learning all about Roth and Layla's story after accidentally reading the harbinger series first. But that's ok because I think I actually liked it better this way.

A 3.5 mainly

I enjoyed this book, I truly did. I love Roth to death, he's such a snarky character that I can't help but love but I've grown out of this series even though its only been a year. I like Jennifer's writing style but in this book I found myself at times almost cringing when she used words like "yeppers" and "okeydokey" seemed a bit childish for me. I particularly do not like Layla she's such a child but I do value the fact that this feels like a teenage book I can relate to some things. The world is pretty cool and the information isn't too much and I will continue to support Jennifer's books but this series wasn't a favorite at all
