This book had me on the first page. It took me a while to read because I didn't want it to end. I've always loved the author and I know this book was going to be all her personality.
This book had life lessons that were funny and serious, humor (I laughed throughout the entire book, and some great moments. I was laughing out loud and had to contain myself several times.
At the end of each chapter, she gives us some nuggets that I could appreciate, I already knew, and made me smile. I like that's all that was very transparent with her life. I can relate to some of the parts of her life that I kept nodding my head to some of her experiences in life. She has a powerful message for life. The journey was not hard for her but she got through it. That was so inspirational. I give it five stars and I would definitely recommend it.

This is a super light hearted memoir about some serious stuff. I found myself giggling at various parts of the book, even while she described some really difficult things. It’s a fun and easy read. I highly recommend.

I didn't know much about Loni Love outside of her being a comedian and a co-host on The Real. I enjoyed learning about her childhood but also what it took for her as a Black Woman to make her way in the comedy world. When people tried to put her in the box of what they thought was what a Black comedian should be (Def Comedy Jam) she crushed that by being true to heart funny. Some funny moments and a quick read

I didn't know much about Loni Love other than the vague feeling of I think I've seen her somewhere or in something. After reading her memoir, I'm pretty sure I was confusing her with another actress. This book was great, she has a great presence and her sense of humor comes through.
