I quite enjoyed this book as it was an easy read. I felt the theme of relationships was interestingly discussed. I found the main character quite flawed in some of the ways she viewed her friendships and thus hard to sympathise with their reactions toward her. The weirdness of ghosting now feels like it is looming.

Although the book is wonderfully written with some very witty ideas & observations about being an adult in this era I often found the main character annoyingly fitting into the ‘I’m not like other girls’ zone. In one moment shes complaining about being reduced to her singledom and then continues to reduce people to their married-ness or relationship-ness.

Bought this as soon as it came out - enjoyed it as a light read and a good reflection on the reality of dating, but it’s unlikely to go down as a classic. Good light reading if you enjoyed Everything I Know About Love
