For me, a sign of a good book is one that makes you think after. And the Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is going to sit with me for a long time.

It's filled with characters you root for despite them being kind of awful people, and characters you find yourself empathizing with despite wanting to hate then. No one is truly innocent in this book, no relationship is uncomplicated, and it's thought provoking from start to finish.

Loved this book, couldn't put it down. Want to reread it again after the reveal at the end.

Outstanding. Best book I've read in my entire life. From beginning to end, I was captivated. My god, this was just incredible.

Personally, I love "easy" books. Seven Husbands didn't do anything particularly challenging, and I feel like that makes it good. It's about a woman's life, her struggles, and her triumphs. It doesn't do anything really new, which helps it

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is not about her seven husbands at all. It is a really heartbreaking story, and I would have absolutely picked it up sooner if I knew what it was truly about. But that being said, the surprise was so much better, so I also recommend going into this as blind as I did.

The way in which Evelyn had me rooting then despising throughout the entirety of this novel. Just like Monique.
