Too funny! My kids cracked up with this little picture book. It does a wonderful job of inviting the imagination to wonder.

Gorilla lets all of the animals out at the zoo and they follow the zookeeper home. His wife wakes up when they all say good night. She takes them all back to the zoo. Gorilla and mouse follow her back home. She doesn't notice when they crawl into bed next to her and the zookeeper. The book features great illustrations and very few words. Children will appreciate the mischievous animals as they parade through the zoo and into the house without the zookeeper's knowledge. The book can be used to encourage print motivation or print awareness.

This is really cute. Can't believe I haven't read it before! I love the sneaky gorilla. Read for grad school for Lit & Resources for Children.
