Love the message of this book, though I’ve been slowly learning most of the info for the last 8 ish years. Getting a refresh on all of it came at a really great time since my body has changed a lot in the last 1.5 years and I’ve found myself struggling with body image more than I have years. Very empowering and enlightening and everyone should read!

Great points and backed up by research and personal experiences. It just got a little long, as books of this genre sometimes do for me personally.

Best book ever for female empowerment, body acceptance, and the movement toward loving and accepting ourselves! I read this book at a time of recovery and working toward peace with my body. Lexie and Lindsay Kite do a remarkable job at emphasizing the fact that our bodies are so much more than what they appear to be, and the language they use is easy to relate to and embrace. This book is so powerful in its message and driving home how our society and culture have hurt us with objectification of our bodies.
I want all women to read this book (and any man that pleases to do so) and to pass it on to daughters, cousin, nieces, aunts, and moms. I have passed it onto so many others who need the war with their bodies to cease and to reach a place of acceptance, appreciation, and love for how they are presented on this earth. I wish I could express how impactful this book is, but words just aren't enough.

This book... just wasn't for me. It was very informative and probably helpful to a lot of people but sadly I am not one of them. Hopefully this book finds the people it was written for.
