Somehow this book was both boring and predictable. It felt like the only reason it existed was to bridge the gap for the third book.

foxglove definitely suffered from second book syndrome. it was a little long winded at times, and some of it felt rather forced. i still enjoyed it, but to a certain degree i feel that this could have remained a duology and this second interwoven storyline to yield a third book was not necessary. i still plan on reading wisteria, but i’m a bit conflicted on what i perceive to be a bit of publishing industry greed….

4.25 stars because i enjoyed the main plot of signa and death, and the atmosphere within it
