Mixed Feelings……..
I’m not sure how I feel about this 3rd installment. A lot of it felt like a re-read. And the extra info that was added in soured my feelings toward the characters, especially Lake. That meltdown she had after hearing about Will’s date was so ridiculous, immature, and extra. She acted childishly throughout most of the series, especially when she learned of her mother’s terminal illness. And hearing things from Will’s POV highlighted his possessive and clingy behavior. Both characters were equally lovable and unlikeable. But I completely loved and respected Julia. She was a treasure in both life and death. If you love a HEA ending, this series is for you.

3.5 stars. It had some interesting perspectives, but it didn’t keep my attention as well. I found myself looking forward to the end.

It was basically just a retelling of the first book in Will’s perspective. As much as I loved Will I didn’t really find this book necessary? But the ending & epilogue was cutie!

I'm going to make this short and sweet because I read this book just for fun not for my blog. This was a great book and such an awesome finish to an awesome series.. Colleen Hoover is such an emotional writing author that can truly bring you up and softly brings you down. I loved this series so much and I have never been disappointed in any of the Colleen Hoover books I've read. Bravo Colleen and thank you for such amazing writing!!!

I'm starting to have serious issues with retellings of books in another POV, but... still ok.

This is Book 1 of the series retold from the male perspective. If I loved these characters I woukd have enjoyed having his POV. However, I didn't love these characters and reliving the entire first book was agony.

This POV change up was done just right. I'm always a little worried about how an author will approach the re-telling of a great story. Collins Hoover got it so right. She was able to tell Will 's side of the story with a perfect blend of repeating the original story and adding more that it flowed just right and was still able to keep me very interested. I simply love this whole series. Thank you Collen Hoover!!

I love Coleen Hoover. This one was a bit of a disappointment. Too much like Slammed, but told from Cooper’s POV.
