It definitely was a lot more childish than I expected it to be. It says a lot that I enjoyed the real world parts more, than when they were in the fantasy world. The characters, in the beggining were very annoying to me, but I've grown to like them. I have to give it to the writer that she really tried to come up with a unique world and it had a lot of interesting ideas
SpoilerThe end, to me, was really unfinished, like it has been cut off. I don't know if the writer is planning on this to be a series, but I didn't felt like the book was properly ended.

If U love fantasy with mystery, exploring New things , not too heavy packed story with some supernatural things hapoening and of course finding info on who is the MC rlly is ,his power, his past. Guessing who is good or bad and let's not forget the romance ,had ME giggling srly. So I wanna say I fell in love with the book and I missed kerstin gier writing so much. Her storys are Always so amazing and of course so creative Always love it. But what I love the most is how She writes these 2 main characters dialouges ,their lives and feelings. I could feel the struggle of Quinn and while I wasn't sure I was gonna like him at the end he became one I smile about. Matilda is amazing,I srly feel bad for her and actually can relate because of her family .
Spoiler
Not the religion sense but the part of how they Can't understand her. How She becames small in front of them even if She tried to say anything. I loved what we got informacion of the "other world", how they had relied on each other and could expore Together and get to know each other. I have to say I was giggling at the parts where they were just being cute or romantic , I LOVE THEM. I am so EXCITED for the next book, I want it right now. We just started to know more of that world ,the powers. Who could have been that wanted at the end Quinn ,What rlly happened with his father and like what Will happen to him or what does he has to do and I NEED them say ily clearly to each other and seriously get  Together,Explorer more Together.

Was man in Ya-Fantasy Büchern eigentlich nie hat.
Stop gaslighting your friends.

Not my favourite by Kerstin Gier, slow at first and a bit all over the place. Holding out for book 2 to be better.
