You Are Not Alone by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen is a page-turner. I checked out the audiobook from my local library, and I couldn't stop listening to it. I found it a bit predictable, but it was still a good read.

Thanks to the authors, publisher, and NetGalley for a copy of the ARC.

Oh my goodness, this was so good. I could hardly put it down. These two authors write so well together! I loved the statistics piece Shay provided for all of her chapters!!!

Twisty and unique! Lots of characters that got a bit confusing at times.

4.5/5- I really really enjoyed this book.

It was a little slow at the beginning but peel opened layer by layer and kept my attention the whole time!

This book is impossible to review without giving spoilers. Suffice it to say, it is unique and creative, with plenty of twiest that keep you turning the pages until the very end. If you are a fan of psychological fiction like Gone Girl, or The Lying Game, and if you enjoyed prior books by these dynamic authors, pick up this title.

I zoomed through the audiobook version [thanks, @libby !] of this dual-author suspense novel. You Are Not Alone follows jobless, friendless, and soon to be houseless Shay Miller as she re-evaluates her life after witnessing a young woman die by suicide (and subway car). Shay crosses paths with sisters Cassandra and Jane- women who are everything and have everything Shay could dream of. Joining their circle of friends brings Shay immediate access to an exclusive echelon of society, but -shocker- things aren't exactly what they appear to be on the surface, they're much more sinister.

I'd say that while the twists were only decent, the pacing of Hendricks' and Pekkanen's writing makes this a fun and engaging read. I'm a sucker for any book that lets me pretend that I'm a rich woman while I read PLUS I got to take another book of my physical TBR shelf! Lightly predictable, but definitely recommend! 4☆

I've read the first two books by this writer duo - Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen. So I read The Wife Between Us and The Anonymous Girl last year and they both had me gripped. Their books go back and forth between various characters and I know that is not what everyone likes to read. For me it is great and you get different viewpoints but in their books it can get very intense as you know all that is going on and can feel the tension building up.

I actually felt that You Are Not Alone was their best work. I felt there was something instantly likeable about Shay and the Moore sisters were also intriguing. Their books
are like a huge puzzle and you have to work out what's going on. The last few chapters I read in one night as I wanted to see how it would all end. Loved it!

I think the less you know about this book before you read it is for the best, I've seen many spoiler reviews of it and you just need to immerse yourself fully into this one. Intrigued to see what this duo do next!

I am so confused after reading this book. There are so many characters and it’s difficult to keep track of how they all fit together. Also, I’m not sure why Amanda would have helped them like she did, with only having known them a little while. Also, how did the sisters meet Daphne again? It just doesn’t add up. The book itself was a fun page turner though, and I enjoyed all the data facts from the main character.

This was a great distracting read! I forgot how much a good thriller can take you out of your world and pull you into another one. And despite everything going on in our world right now, I don't think I would want to be trapped in this novel, that's for sure. I enjoyed the fast pace, and Shay, while sort of generic, was fun to root for. I would definitely recommend not reading anything about the book before jumping into this, the story unfolds very quickly and it's part of the fun to figure things out as they come up.
