Katee Roberts always has great covers that convince me to give her another try even though I know she's not for me. I don't actually dislike her books, I just always want them to be a bit deeper. I like all these characters and wish there was more interaction and connection besides sex. The world is interesting too and I wanted to know more. Still not decided on whether I'll read the rest of the series or not.

Super spicy and fun as is typical of Katee Robert, but the world building was clunky and patchy and lowkey took me out of the story. I need more lore and world building in the next one because HELLO VAMPIRES!

ive enjoyed it a lot more than i expected, i went in just for a short escape from reality (i hate school sm!) totally thought it will be just full on smut no plot or if there is i probably wont care abt it but omg im enjoying the plot too!! excited to finish the rest of this short series

This is not sparkly vampires that is for sure. This was a highly erotic story. The steamy moments were fire. I did, however, wish that there was a bit more of the story in this because the premise is fantastic as are the characters.
