This book was surprisingly well written! I didn't think I would ever like a book as much as Ally Carter's, Gallagher Girls. But this defiantly shocked me at how much I enjoyed reading this. Just like in the summary, Maggie Silver is a 16 year old safe cracker. One of the bests actually. She's the daughter of 2 infamous spies, that being said, her parents suggest a mission to Maggie that their "boss" gave them. To be a normal 16 year old, attend high school and well.. Befriend a boy ;) This is where the 'romance' part of the story begins. I will admit, I didn't actually read this book because of the romantic part of it. I love spy books ! Which nowadays is sooooo hard! Wanna know why? Cause I'v practically read all of them :( Back to the storyline!! hehehe. Basically, she goes to high school for the first time and finally sees the boy she's supposed to befriend, Jessie Oliver. A lot of event that even surprised me happens and the end is a big shock! The one who surprised me the most would have to be Jessie. I expected him to be some hot, jerk that wouldn't give the time of day to Maggie. Which I was wrong! He was sweet and nice and actually connected with Maggie. This is a must read, I'm telling you !

Das war einfach superlustig und schön fluffig! Robin Benway schreibt richtig klasse.
Trotzdeeeeem!

If you're looking for something to read after you've finished all of [a:Ally Carter|56224|Ally Carter|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/authors/1208362946p2/56224.jpg]'s books, then this is worth a try. Not as tightly plotted, but enjoyable enough.

I love this book. From the plot to the main character Maggie. The way Maggie isn't sure about anything to do with sociale interaction is relatable and the fact that Maggie's "problem" with social interaction is coming from lack of experience.

A bit unrealistic , but on occasion insanely funny . I really liked the main character Maggie , who was funny and smart and kind , but I loved her new best friend Roux even more . She was so hilarious and such a good friend that I will most definitely be reading the sequel , If only for the brilliance of her character .

I mean...It wasn't bad. It was okay. Too much dialogue for my taste. I found myself skimming through the chapters where Maggie and Roux gossiped because it felt like snarky comments were just being thrown left and right for the hell of it. Skipped past the Angelo chapters as well, because he seemed to be written in for Maggie's convenience. And if only Maggie would stop saying the word 'spy'. We get it, Maggie. You're a spy, but not a very good one if you keep slipping up and saying it out loud.

The nice thing about this book, though, is Maggie's relationship with Jesse Oliver. They weren't head over heels for each other instantly, and they weren't sickeningly sweet together either.

Now, would I read the next book? Probably not. Would I read it if I was stuck in a long car trip and had nothing else on my tablet? Sure.

this book was a great light read, with funny and likeable characters. i really liked how the characters all seemed to actually act like teenagers. i'm always in for a spy story!
