Een goed verhaal, langer als de vorige omdat er ook meer tijd werd besteed aan de ontwikkeling van de zus i.p.v. vooral aan het verleden. Ik geef hem 4.5 ster. ik ben benieuwd naar het boek hierna. En eigenlijk het verhaal van Pa Salt

The sister I thought I would like the least turned out to be the sister I liked the most.
For 2/3 of the book I couldn't figure out the connection between Cecily and Electra. All my theories turned out to be wrong..... I loved the story in the end.

Finally finished this book! Love all books in this series BUT this one felt so long. Electra’s story was a good one but there were parts that could have been edited out as well as some characters.

I give it 4 stars only because it's a story about a black woman written by a white woman. I can imagine it's incredibly difficult to write a story about someone from a totally different background than yourself, so I believe she did a great job! I also appreciate that the narrator's voice on audible matched what she was reading. Overall I would and have been recommending this series to everyone! I can't wait for the last book to come out!
