tää on ihan oikeesti mun lempi kirjasarja tälhetkellä. Tykkäsin ekasta kirjasta ehkä hitusen enemmän, mutta Pip ja Ravi yhdessä ehdottomasti nosti tän kirjan arvostelua. Rakastin vanhojen hahmojen uusia tarinoita ja sitä koko loppua, en jaksa oottaa et saan kolmannen osan käsiini

“Is that blackmail? No, sir. It’s just persuasion.”

I LOVE Pip.

This fun and easy sequel to “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder” finds our heroine Pip once again embroiled in a mystery in her small town - this time, the disappearance of her best friend’s brother.

This book was a bit tighter and more straight forward - less side quests and dealing with pesky things like friends, family, school, and homework. Which, by the way, isn’t Pip a senior in high school? How is going to class mentioned like, a maximum of three times in this book?

Anyway, besides the point, I actually would love to hear a bit more about Pip’s life outside of solving mysteries, but this one was a satisfying and twisty read, where you really feel like you’re solving the disappearance alongside Pip, frustrations, epiphanies, and all. I still really like the style in how it’s told - a combination of narrative chapters, interviews, and her notes.

I wish that this one had a bit more at the end, it seems the author was in a rush to wrap things up and end the book when there was a lot more that could have been explored, including her relationships with her friends and family throughout the book, as well as reaction/responses to her season 2.

Overall, this book was enjoyable and I’m really looking forward to the rest of the series!
