If you are a scientific-minded person, I strongly recommend this book. It is excellent as far as information. The purpose of this book is not motivation, but facts and how-to.

I like how they explain from the beginning that it's really about NOT being on a diet, rather more so about making a full lifestyle change. The book is very easy to read, understand, and help you along your path.

I read half of this book, then put it down for a while, and now have decided that I give up least. It is an interesting book, though even the humorously explained dumbed down technical scientific information was a bit dry for me.

This book is alright I suppose, but it was a bit boring to me. I was mistaken in what I thought it would contain. I thought it explained everything in much more detail than I was interested in. If you're looking for something that will inspire you during your dieting, you won't find it in here. If you're looking for clinical descriptions and how your body processes food, this is the book for you.

I found this to be quite a fascinating book. I'm not sure it would be incredibly helpful if I were on a diet, but the explanation of how food moves through your body and how it works to fuel your body was really interesting and informative.

Lots of cute little cartoons, not so much with helpful advice. Not what I was looking for at all. I skimmed through it at the store and was glad I hadn't bought it.

One of my friends is going on this diet and asked if I wanted to join her. I said I'd have to read up on it first before I decided, so here I am. I suspect I won't necessarily read the whole book or precisely front to back.
