Amazing!

Wow! What a ride! This book was just as interesting as the first, and just as alluring and hot! I'm here for it all, the story and the spice!

Liars by Dana Isaly is a dark reverse harem romance. This is the second book in The Tirad series.

The book comes with a warning: "This book is strictly for those over the age of legal adulthood. It is a reverse harem with dark themes such as BDSM, violence, lots of bad words, and group activities."

This is Dana's debut series, and it just keeps getting better! I was hooked from the very beginning and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I am absolutely loving the chemistry between Scarlet, Sebastian, Tristan, and Elliot. I really enjoyed getting Scarlet, Sebastian, Tristan, Elliot, and Motshan's points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

The book ends on an amazing cliffhanger! I can't wait for the next book in the series Omens to be released on April 8, 2022.

I would highly recommend this book if you like dark romances, reverse harem romances, or mafia/gang romances.

I didn't know what to expect when I picked this one up. The first book finished on a cliffhanger and I didn't know where the story was going to be taken. And it started with a bang. After Scarlet is kidnapped, her boys need to work together more than ever to figure out where she is. And when they find her, there are lots of things that are different. And some things that are very much the same.

Scarlet is still as fierce and sassy, but I really wished that we got to see her more vulnerable. It was like she recovered very quickly. We saw a few hints of it here and there. But I really wanted some more of it. But that wasn't a major deal for me.

Sebastian, Tristan and Elliot are all very different and I think we really were able to see that again in Liars. Sebastian while a goff ball at times, is... I don't even know how to say it. But I wouldn't want to meet up anywhere. Tristan is calmer and you are able to see how much he does care for Scar. And then were is Elliot, who intrigued me from the get-go. But we really get to see more of him in this book and I kinda loved it.

The plot for this one was really interesting. And while for the most part I really did enjoy, I just wanted a little more. I was just sitting on that edge and never really went all the way.

Overall I enjoyed reading Liars. I think it was a great sequel and I am so not ready for the next book, I want it already. But I am also so not ready for what is going to happen. If you are looking for a new dark romance series, give this one a go.

Please make yourself aware of the reasons this author is problematic. I will no longer be reading, sharing, or promoting any of their books.

This book ends on a cliffhanger!

I’ve been counting down the days until I could be reunited with my cinnamon roll. And for Scarlet to be reunited with him, all her boys. The preface alone quickly reminded me how much I love Scarlet. The way the boys literally went at each other while Scarlet was gone…I didn’t know whether to gasp or swoon (I did both). The swooning went into full effect the second Scarlet was back in Tristan’s arms. And then I swooned some more when Back in Black reached Scarlet. And then when Elliot admitted he was jealous? Hardcore swooning! And that swooning turned into something else entirely when Elliot finally figured his sh!t out with Scarlet. My poor heart almost couldn’t handle the four of them being back together. My babies. Of all the mafia/organized crime, controlling men, reverse harems I’ve read, I am beyond protective of these four. And to know how this one ended…this is a worse pain than the cliffhanger of Scars!

My Favorite Quotes:
• “Scrumpo” (precious)
• “I thought we had lost you, poppet.”
• “She’s mine and only mine until you both get your heads out of your asses and earn her back.”
• “I’ve missed the way you sound when you come for me.”
• “You’re ours.”
• “I made the batch. May as well taste test.”
• “I’d actually love to watch him cut you up until you bleed out. That sh!t turns me on.”

I really liked this. I kind of enjoyed that they had to work a little harder to find Scarlet. I did not expect the twist and I'm very excited to find out what is going to happen in Omens especially after the epilogue. 4 stars.

Why choose (three men one girl)
They like to watch each other but no swords crossing.
Rival mafia gangs.
She’s in the middle of it.

I’m actually not the biggest fan of reverse harems, but I like this one. I LOVED the plot. There’s a lot of spice in between things happening but it was so interesting. Definitely pretty dark so check trigger warnings. I cannot wait until the next book!
