This was a disappointing conclusion. There were convenient solutions and plot developments galore, weak relationship development outside of Wrath and Emilia, and the plot moved so quickly it felt underdeveloped and lacking in depth. It was nice there was finally some spice (and a lot of it), but there is a time and a place, and a crowning ceremony in front of family is probably not one of them. Can we have spice but make it just a little more realistic?

I loved the brothers' relationships and the vulnerability there as well as getting more of Emilia and her sister, but neither of those things was enough to keep this book from feeling flat.

There seem to be plans for spin-off stories in this universe. I might pick them up if I get curious and am in exactly the right mood, but I don't find it very compelling at the moment.

1.5⭐️ Let’s actually talk about this. I loved the other books so much but this was just disappointing. It was almost as if there was too much going on… like the story was taken fully away from what happened in the first book and more confusing things were thrown in. I get that this book is fantasy but you’ve got to at least make it realistic for the fantasy realm - it felt almost as if when you play make believe as a kid and you keep throwing in more magic into the mix so you can keep the story going whilst having a happy ending. And finally there was too much sex. To the point I was rolling my eyes whenever it came up. Like. There was smut in every other chapter. And funnily enough I don’t care enough about sex to want to read it every. other. chapter.

OH AND the main character is low-key a major pick me <3 and she always refers to Wrath as “my husband” like no one actually cares. AND she’s constantly trying to show how powerful she is but she’s just dumb xxxx

It took me a lot longer to read this book, which is why I think it got a lower rating for me. If I had time to quickly read it at the pace it was meant to be read, it would be much more enjoyable.

I think this world is very interesting and I’ll be thinking about the series for quite a while. Wrath was written so perfectly. The relationship between wrath and Emilia was so special. I love to see the demon brothers interact with Emilia. Big ups the goddess of Fury

sighs contentedly???

The finals book in the series was okay though I'm not going to lie I didn't remember anything from the past books. The plot was lost on me man. And Emilia did get on my nerves but only because it was her pov. I would have loved to know what was going on in Wrath’s mind because we love him over here. Vittoria and Pride? I would love to see it.
