Another engaging, humorous book by Bethany Turner! I loved the spacing of a yearly update. Nothing happened quickly, but it all added to the story!

It was such a heartfelt read! The perfect mix of a rom-com, friendships and finding love in people throughout the years of one's life. A story about being alone, growing up, following your true passions, self-confidence and more!
I love the narration in this one and how the characters have grown throughout the book. The story had its twists and turn, kept you guessing throughout the pages and led on into the titled 'plot twist'.
It was my first book by Bethany Turner but it certainly won't be my last!

I couldn’t get through the writing style - very adjective heavy in a way that was distracting. Also, the interactions and dialogue were too unrealistic for my taste, bordering on corny. Olivia is the worst kind of “I’m not like other girls” pick me at the start (to be fair, I’m not sure if she changes out of that because I had to stop). Add in an audiobook narrator with a terrible Irish accent and I spent an hour involuntarily cringing my way through the initial meet-cute. I physically could not continue.

I love Bethany Turner- she always delivers in the contemporary romance department, with humor and realness that I find absolutely delightful. This book had the cutest meet-cute ever in the coffee shop! And it has some fun twists and turns along the way. Loved it!
