A sweet little story that does little to add to Tolkien's reputation. I said before that his weakest story was Roverandom, but I think this takes the cake.

This is a sweet, funny, easy-to-read story with beautiful illustrations by [a:J.R.R. Tolkien|656983|J.R.R. Tolkien|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1434625177p2/656983.jpg] himself. I really enjoyed it to relax a bit, have fun and enhance my reading of The Professor's books.

My grandma Smith found this in a second-hand store and thought of me! She's so brilliant. I hadn't even heard of it, and I found the whimsical story and illustrations delightful.

Tolkein's only children's book (that I'm aware of) is delightful, whimsically illustrated, and fostered in me a deep desire for a girabbit.

This was more Blyton than Carroll, contrary to what the Introduction says.

This little children's book is so delightful and strange. Thanks, Tolkien.
